I've been chasing a problem with my 94 940 turbo Volvo for a few months without success so I thought I would see if any of you guys have ideas:

Car has a slightly bigger than stock mitsu 15G turbo, mbc set at 12 lbs, and thelostartof chips and runs beautifully EXCEPT when it has been driven at least 15 minutes or so and then turned off and left to heat soak for 30 minutes to an hour or so. Then it runs like it's too rich (or down a cylinder), down on power, shakey idle. After driving for anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on the ambient temp, it is like a switch is flipped and it's back to running normally. If I leave the hood up and the ambient is reasonably cool like it is now, there are no problems. That's why I call it a 'heat soak' issue. So far I have replaced radio suppression relay, ignition module, coil, new plugs and wires and distributor cap/rotor. It does run better now- the plugs were old- but I still have the problem. This is really frustrating and I'm running out of ideas. My thoughts are AMM, ECT sensor, maybe a leaky injector? But really I have no idea what to try next. I'm sure I could run it for 24 hrs straight and it would not have a problem, but shut it off for a while and restart it you have a problem.

Any thoughts?
