Good grief, and people say my C4 has a cramped cockpit!
Hey gang. Lots of folks taking up bandwidth here, so I’m getting photos to Facebook as well as I can.
Almost more like a concert than a car launch. 1200-ish people here. 250 journalists, 160 Vette club members, 90 influencers and about 500 dealers plus Chevy folks.
Whole history of corvette is on display, plus race cars. CERV3 was a nice treat as we await an “official” mid engined corvette.
General buzz of cautious optimism here. I think everyone is prepared to like the car, but we all want a price.
Keep an eye on the FB feed. That seems to be the only reliable place I can put photos up at the moment.
We were just warned to stay in our seats during the presentation for our own safety. I think that means tigers.
What I’m getting is we’re not going to get any real face time with this thing yet. This is a zoo. A cool zoo, to be sure, but this is clearly about the hype for the public and not about the details for the press.
Are you considered a journalist or an influencer in your capacity there? Will that change if you streak?
I can not over stress the hype level of some folks here. There’s people around me in the bleachers literally vibrating in their seats.
Is that a 5,000 rpm redline on the tach? And a friction circle to the right (not what I'd call practical in real time, maybe it's part of a datalogger? Where do you fire the photon torpedoes?
No one has said the word Corvette yet. This is a cool presentation, but I’m curious about the segue.
Wow. Very lackluster applause for the pause after the line “like a rocket, the engine is in the BACK.”
Not sure the crowd is convinced that’s an upgrade.

Yeah, can confirm. Front 3/4 is fire. Rear 3/4 is fyrefest.
