No. No. No.

I was away from a computer all of yesterday so I'm just seeing this for the first time.

Never before have I had to fight back tears for somebody I've only known online.

RIP my friend.

This is sad. I spoke with him, on the telephone, about Yamaha fuel tanks. He impressed me as being a true gentleman.

I am going to rename the room I host on Sunday for the GRM GT6 racing league "GRM Curmudgeon Memorial". Really because I don't know what else to do but it feels like the right thing to do.

Oh man...

He seemed like a really cool guy from what I saw on here. I'll keep his family and friends in my thoughts. He will be missed.

Like many, I'd only "known" the man through our shared participation here. But he, like many, became a constant. I grew to have a picture in my mind of what his life was like - the good and the bad. I'll miss not having him here sharing his knowledge and his experience and experiences.

Love and strength to his family and friends.

He helped out a friend of mine once, someone he had never met. A good guy. I always liked his posts. This sucks....

Based on what I've read in this thread, his presence is still here. I'm sure we're only a very small subset of people whose lives he enriched over the years.

This one is for you, friend. Straight out of the tank, because that's the best way. Shame I'll never get to pour you one for real.

Crap I knew he was sick but I didn't know it was that bad. He was a great influence on the community and I know he will be missed greatly.

My condolences to the family, please let us know if you need anything.

I just told his daughter. I did tell her that she could read it now or we'd understand if it took a bit for her to get here.

Really hard to come back the forum after 10 days and see this first. I also never had the opportunity to meet him but I truly enjoyed his posts here under whichever moniker he chose. Some of his builds were the reason I first got to a Challenge and haven't missed one since without a serious reason.

By any name he was known it can be told by 7 pages of tributes and heartfelt stories that he was a truly a gentleman, friend and someone who grabbed life by the balls. We should all be so blessed. Godspeed Mike.
