We're stuck in our homes, you're stuck in your homes: It's a match made in heaven!

In a new perk for our members, we'll be hosting a private Zoom video conference this Wednesday, April 8, at 9 p.m. Eastern time.

What will we discuss? Who knows, but it will be more fun than another night in isolation. We'll show off our projects, take a look at yours, answer questions, and generally just hang out.

To join, just click this link:
https://zoom.us/j/292241341?pwd=Mkh6Z0dObTBXbS9mMUpJdzM5TUlBdz09

You'll also need our password, which you can find on our Patreon account. Already supporting GRM? Check your email for details.

We'll see everybody on the call!

That was fun. Thanks, everyone, for joining us. Lots of stories about driving cars where you shouldn't.

I apparently need to copy stuff from email to my calendar to actually do it.

Also, anybody else verging on an unhealthy frequency of tele-happy-hours lately?

We're doing our internal video-con weekly update meeting today.  Last week we decided it should include beverages.  It's going to be hard going back to the real world once this is done.......

Guys that was great!  I think you should do a feature on the pro teams that came to test in JG's old neighborhood!  That was an interesting story to hear and would be equally so to see in print.

And I still think theres a new reality show opportunity in "Duck King".

Seems like there are two strong articles from that conversation-

for CM- actual lost tracks

for GRM, lost "tracks".

Fun to be part of.

So, while we have your attention, anybody have questions/topics they want to discuss at our next chat? And is there a better day/time for everyone?

That was fun to listen to while I was working in the garage. I was laughing so hard at that McLaren test and tune story.

We'll tell Consulier crash stories next time.

Or maybe about that time Tim saved the company by hosting VW Corrado ride and drives all over the country....

Or maybe the time he started his own sanctioning body and then sold it for $1.

Yeah, we've got plenty of content to do these every week!

This and the Rael story are the perfect fodder for this venue.

The industry stories, back roads test-and-tune site recollections were great. That type of story with graphics/photos/etc. are perfect for this sort of venue!

I still think we should buy GRM the most awful project car ever, just to see what they do with it.

They ran the First Project Car using that E30 a while back, and that was an interesting enthusiast viewpoint. I think most kids wind up with a first car that used to belong to Aunt Bonnie, and it's a Pontiac G5 or Nissan Rogue. It'd be interesting to see them take something like that as far as they can.

Convertible LeBaron or the Sunbird suggested last night.

Are there any Dodge Shadows left in the US?

The Sunbird I suggested last night.

I've heard that the 2.2 can hold a fair bit of boost before it dies.

As much fun as the tour of bumble berkeley florida was and of course the talk of six figure pro race cars...

I would prefer to talk about grassroots type stuff that isn't unobtainable or no longer useful to most people. Maybe we can talk about the future and speculate about up and coming tuner cars, innovative swaps and platforms that are useful and fun? Personally, I am more interested in the next thing versus the just retelling stories of the long past.

In reply to Brett_Murphy (Forum Patrón) :

That, my friend, is a Sunfire.

Best project car? A light blue 2004 Toyota Camry. Kevin will love it.
