Flew in to Texas two days ago to face this:
Backed it in the wall at Road Atlanta last race of the season. Fuel cell was crushed, rear clip shifted a foot to the left, axle done.
So far (today), I got the cell out, rear end out, and have all the lines and wiring harness off the motor/trans. Pulling it to throw a new LS3 in it. Gotta cut the old rear clip off and weld the new one on. Gonna be a long 5 days before I go back to Atlanta.
I'll try and keep everyone up to date. Staying at Bob Stretch's house, in his $800,000 RV. It's niiiiiiice.
Oh, he gave me his 996 Twin Turbo to use for the week as well. 650hp!
Good thing you told me as I didn't see anything wrong.
Do my eyes deceive me or do you use a torsion bar front suspension?

He asked me if I did a 3 gear pull from 60 to 120 yet. NOPE!
And for those of you who have sharp eyes, you will notice in the first picture that the brake rotor has SEPARATED from the hat. Big impact

Coming to you live from the race shop. Haha, I do miss the Ferrari place. I go back to work for the last 2 days after Christmas. Bob just bought a 550 Maranello and it needs some stuff, so I gotta price up some stuff for him.
Motor is almost out of the car. Effing header bolt stripped and gotta drill it out now.
Motor/trans is out. Ugh. Pics to come as soon as my dumb phone will pull up the gallery
