So I just changed my swaybar endlinks to try to stop a knock that's been bothering me since the last rallycross season, and failed. I put shiny new links on, and didn't check torque specs, and now I've got a squeal every time I get the car moving after it's sat for a couple hours, oh and the knock is still there.
I really hope this is more related to my warped rotors, since those are next on my repair list, but I thought I'd ask the hive to see if I could get some advice.
squeal is one thing, knock is another. Belts, clutch, brakes could present a squeal. when does the knock appear. sitting still or moving ?
Did you use the poly lube with your new swaybar bushings? That can cause a squeak.
I would check ball joints and tie rods for a clunk.

In reply to iceracer: Sound happens after the car sits for about 2 hours or more. It happens when making left turns, and once the sound is made, I don't hear it again until the car sits for a while.
In reply to wvumtnbkr: I just grabbed a pair problem solvers from the local shop, because discount.
Brake dust shield. You inadvertently bent it during install of the links. Lube up the links and bushing as well. The knock is your strut going bad, or top hat.
