75' may not sound like much on the ground, that high in a piece of mobile equipment......puckering.
What? 75 feet is really high! Never get me up in that!

I'm mentoring two fantastic young doctors. I'm loving it.
Trying to get a nice lady a bit more time with her very elderly, frail, renal failure, anorexic cat, while gently initiating the "it's time" discussion. Hardest part of my job.

Not sure how to interpret this remark. Could be you are having "relations" with a large number of women of child-bearing age. Or, you might be a teacher.
LOL!
Shop teacher at an engineering college. Up until now, I was pretty happy with that, too!

Ha! That was a little one we rented for the day. Our usual lift at the other campus is a 125' unit. The sway at the top of that is positively nauseating.
Lots of awesome creations here as always...
Took the day off from work today, created some methane, annoyed my wife until she told me to leave, so I fired up some heaters in the garage and assembled the engine hoist that's been sitting under my indoor stalled project car all winter.
Then I went and bought half of a pressure washer as a project to see if I can build up a decent one for less than a new big-box one.

This evening I plan to create a rum based concoction or two to try and forget how pathetic my life has turned out to be.
You're drinking rum and not malt liquor or t-bird. Youre better off than many.
Not much created today. Mostly maintaining things that are already in existence.
Yesterday was creating, tomorrow may be as well. Today must have been a off day.
I'm about to start 3D printing a cupholder I designed for my Valiant. While it's printing, I will likely work on a lawn edging air dam for the car.
Adjusted Lego robot #2 so it matches Lego robot #1 so that the robotics kids can program twice as fast. Not that they're getting any of the missions solved, but they're iterating faster which I consider progress.

Also I've found out that rum and MTN Dew is not a good idea at first. But by the third it's not so bad.

Yes, third and fourth grade. The entire group is boys this year. Keep them busy or face the inevitable light saber duel with meter sticks.

Good Luck keeping them occupied!
I get to work with a few of the local HS teams and then there is a regional FIRST event held at our university, so my shop is used for all of the teams to do their last minute work as well as any repairs.
I can't believe how much enjoyment I get out of working with these teams. Love their enthusiasm!

I need some details on this. I have a 3rd grader that is obsessed with legos and in a lego engineering homeschool class.

Please tell me you're keeping the art on the side. That's actual talent.
:) I actually commissioned a friend to put it on there! First pic shows how I received it.

This will give you some of the basic info, I'm sure Seth is much more informed what the steps are to get involved. I get to work with them a couple weeks a year after they're already participating.
It's a pretty cool program from what I've seen.
