An LS swapped Lasalle Hearse.

An lo206 kart. It's the cheapest way to get into real wheel-to-wheel racing but it'll still burn through cash.

One of these. I've come so close to buying one on multiple occasions, but every time I look under the hood, I die a little inside.

Buying a cheap Mid-'70s Dodge MDT and turning it into a lowered crew cab Ramp Truck because I can't get Cotton Owen's Club Cab version out of my head.

(This one is available for $500)

Me too. There was a filthy red FD with somewhat attractive but oversized wheels and hideous aftermarket headlights sitting under a tree on a farm not far from our house. It had been there for years and didn't seem to move much. My wife and I finally stopped and asked about it a month or so ago. The car turned out to be a '93 R1 with 78k miles on it. I drove the car home a few days later.

I should probably do a proper build thread on this one.

You are a saint! Original wheels too, very nice.

And lastly, an '80-82 M Body coupe!

Seriously, the M body coupe is my personal White Whale.    I would love to find a Challenge Priced one that still had the unibody intact.

Bad Ass.......Definitely Bad Ass. In fact that is one of my bad ideas. A Miata based off roader just to see what it could do here in colorado and utah.

The other one is to go down the road of Cotton......I keep looking at S600's and other big turbocharged mercs.

Oh and is this a bad idea or awesome??

Dodge Stealths are always awesome. I want another one in the worst way.

I always tell people that asking me for car advice is a terrible idea. I bought a one year only rotary powered station wagon.

V-10 M5.......

They are just so cheap.  And I have a quest to own as many different engine types as possible in my lifetime.

Better?

Looks like that might solve a few clearance issues.

A Z32 300ZX actually falls under the bad automotive temptations for my wife; she wants one in gunmetal gray. I've been staying away from those for much the same reason as Turbine though

I've been living out my bad ideas in 1/25th scale for decades.

NASCAR V8-powered Baja Bug.

Ford Escort Cosworth converted to RWD and stuffed with a big-block V8.

The SHO-powered Ranger that I built recently.

Now I have a Taurus with no engine, so what can I put in there? How about a 450hp SVO V6 from an ASA Thunderbird powering the front wheels.

Other ideas I'd love to do:

Flathead V8 swapped into literally anything newer than 1960.

Turbo 300ci inline-six.

Nissan 240SX with Silvia front end (Sileighty) and a small-block Ford engine.

Tube-frame road racing 90s Bronco.

Thanks! I'm having fun with it so far. I need to track down some trim pieces for the interior and a pair of stock headlight assemblies, but it is coming together.

And then this just popped up a few hours away.   I'm going to take a run at it.

That seems a little more manageable! And a bit less awkward looking than some of the RB swaps I've seen. Probably cheaper too. Some of the appeal of the z32 TT is boost. For me, at least. I'm sure the torque of that LS could make up for it though
