I was looking at the Skip Barber 3-Day Racing Schools, and saw "Sebring International Raceway - Modified" and that it was $700 less than their other 3-Day Racing Schools.
1) Does anybody know what the modified layout is? I haven't been able to find a map, but I think I read it was 1.9 miles.
2) Why is it cheaper? Does Skip Barber have more facilities their so they're not transporting stuff as far, thus less expensive.
1.9 miles sounds like what we used to the short course. The track turns right a short time after turn 13 and rejoins at turn 3, It's basically the top half of the picture above.
Ahh, that was my suspicion. I wonder why the 3-day racing school is cheaper there than at say, Road Atlanta or Laguna Seca.
When I did it at Sebring it was the bottom half of the map. You turned right at turn 1 and they added some curves. It meant you got to do the full throttle turn 17 under the bridge and then onto the front straight. That way they also could put spotters on top of the garages and see your whole run.
Carguy is correct. You turn right at turn three, and join before turn fourteen.
