I'm not normally stumped but on another forum this picture has lots of people confused. What is this car?
Looks like a silver Mercedes to me.
I suspect Mercedes E Class is not the answer you're looking for
Correct, I've owned them and know to not notice them anymore(although an e55 estate like that is a unicorn)
Not a B210, not rounded in the fender enough; grilles on the hood threw me off as well.
Grill is upside down. Notice the upside down D for Datsun.
Could be a Datsun 310. Maybe 510
No, it is a 510 sedan. Trust me. I've owned them. Not a 310, not a 210, definitely not a 1200.
Grills may not go with the car, the overhang isn't long enough for anything Datsun I've seen. I've had a 1200, a 210 and a 510. I think it looks Fiat-ish but can't find anything that matches.
Can't tell the make/model yet, but one thing is fairly certain: That house/driveway belongs to a European GRMer, even if he doesn't know he's a GRMer

I'm not disagreeing, here is the other side of his yard
First thought was x1/9 but not sure.
Not to pile on but what is that tail light in the left hand corner of the picture with rear of Wagon?

From what I can see it looks like a Datsun 1200 coupe (b110), or a stanza (violet) coupe.
With the twin headlights I'm leaning towards the stanza.
Edit, probably stanza.
Here's the 1200 front
Here's the stanza
See how the chrome on the side window swoops up? Can't see any Datsuns with that sweep.
I thought Yugo originally, not quite right though
The grill threw me off at first, but I'm going to say late '70s VW Rabbit.
Not a rabbit, the fender is to wide and the hood isn't shaped right.
I thought Yugo/ Fiat also but the grilles piled on the hood appear Datsun... if they're even related to that car.
150,000% sure it's a nickel and dime. I've had THAT same Grill and it fits inside that nose.
510 doesn't have those body lines along the fender
looks like the car Burrito is building...?
it's not a fiat/yugo. The Crease mid-fender that comes all the way to grill is absent in the 124, 128, 131, and Yugo
