Looking for something that will fit a '73 240z with flares. What does GRM suggest that has a classic look but is pretty wide?

When I was a kid, a guy had some 16x8 mesh wheels (enkei or some such). Fit under the stock wells. Very nice. My '73 just had 14's on it. sigh. Wish I still had that car.

Anything 15x8, 16x8 and zero offset should look pretty good with flares, I would think.

Are you opposed to repros? Konig makes several wheels that fit the bill.. The rewinds come to mind. There's also rota.. Don't let em fool you I've got a set on my ms3 and they aren't bad. Otherwise check out vrwheels. They have all the cool vintage stuff.

Ive been looking at the Konigs. Are Rotas lightweight?

Depends on the Rota- my DPT's aren't bad, though some of the others are pigs.

As far as I'm concerned, those are just about the only three choices.

Wheels need to be period correct.

Where do you BUY Rotas? Nobody actually seems to carry them.

Thats the one problem with watanbes. May go with atara wheels as the oklahoma Z clubs president can get a set for around 1000$

At one point Rota had a set of wanatabe knockoffs. I wanted a set for my 320i, but at the time I checked, not in my size.

I had their "inside" contact email, let me see if I can find it for you. They were a bit hard to get ahold of.

www.wheeldude.com is the only reliable way I've ever found. It's literally some guy with his cell phone, but he's super legit and fast as hell with shipping. I think I had mine in a week? maybe a bit more, but it was fast.
