What's a good cross between a Grand Cherokee and a Z4?

I hate to say this.... ZDX. I saw one again this morning and forgot how close they were to being awesome. I'd take one, use the TL-6spd, drop the awd and gut it. Lowered on something not 20" in diameter with some width. 

But for a normal person, they're not a bad deal. not as top heavy as the MDX/Pilot it's built on. Has the 300hp 3.7 V6 and AWD. 

How about a Trackhawk or SRT8 Grand Cherokee?   Of course, you'll need a sawzall to put the top down...

I looked into these a bit when we were shopping for a quick sporty SUV. I never actually drove one, though, as once i drove a Cayenne i pretty much narrowed my search entirely down to those. I still think these are neat, especially for someone who doesn't trust the options i listed that are obviously sporty but give people some reservations about cost to keep it going. I assume those people would trust a Honda.
