Living with a supercar: We all dream of daily driving that exotic, but what's the reality? By the way, some people got their panties in a wad upon seeing the teaser photos on Facebook. So, was it all for naught? Did JG have fun babysitting a new Viper GTS for a week? Did he really watch a couch burn from inside its sexiness? Added bonus: We talk to a guy who really does daily drive a Viper. By the way, the story ends with a moral that applies to all of us, whether you drive a Viper or a P71, CRX or whatever.

Chassis fab: What does every DIY project need? Good, solid welds. Carl Heideman again dispenses some of his welding knowledge. In this case, it's so easy that a kid can do it--and in reality, the welding shown in this story was all done by his teenager.

Better BMW: This one is a two-fer. First, we check out BimmerWorld's awesome, no-holds-barred track M3. As an added bonus, James Clay shares the recipe for their crapcan E36.

speaking of the 818, apparently there is a technical high school in Phily who is making a hybrid one of those.

PS: The only thing we couldn't do with the Viper was take it through a car wash. The dude brought out a fancy set of calipers made from PVC pipes and told us the tires were too wide. First world problems.

THREE bewbs?! Three! I like how you guys roll. Unfortunately being on the west coast means that I usually get my issue a week or so behind East Coasters, so the bewbs will have been discovered long before I can get my hands on them. So to speak.

About 10 years ago, Car Craft Magazine had an issue with coverage of one of the big "Nationals" shows they usually cover in the summer. There was a big pic of a bunch of dudes checking out some custom car. One of the dudes was without a shirt and not in great shape. Under him, it just said "MOOBS!!!"

It was about that time when I stopped subscribing to Car Craft Magazine.

Who would do that? Thats like buying an $8000 imported Italian leather couch and then cleaning it with pledge and a wire brush.

A good, modern carwash—if well-maintained—is less environmentally impactful and just as easy on your finish as a bucket-and-hose job. Of course, there are a lot of variables that go into that equation, but we have two washes locally that are pretty exceptional, and have really conscientious people running them. Of course, we also have plenty tunnels of despair, and gas stations that I wouldn't take my worst enemies' Kia Rondo through.

The best thing about our local car wash: If you do the $5 express wash, you get to remain in the car while it goes through. It's like being 10 again.
