I should know but I don't yet. I believe it is a Getrag but don't quote me on that just yet.

Probably the F40, seems to be GM's 6-speed FWD manual transmission. They use it in the Cobalt SS and, as a matter of fact, they use it in the AWD Saab.

Not saying an AWD conversion on that platform is possible, but they are the same chassis....

Someone already "converted" it at the factory. We were supposed to get this and then it didn't happen because GM NA is awesome like that.

Buick has tended to use the GS designation since the last GN rolled off the line in '87 and it's more likely to be recognized by the people that would buy a new Buick.

A black/black 6spd turbo sits in front of my desk and I have to say its a great car I just cant give up the "more" factor of the SRT4 for a Buick. The GS is going to be a great performer. Look for the Verano turbo, GS AWD, and, or GNX its a great time for Buick right now

Do you mean CXL (rather than CXP, as the title states)? The CXL Turbo uses the F40 (6 speed manual):

A fast, sexy, Buick Turbo with a 6-speed manual? The world isn't making sense anymore!

Yeah I meant CXL Turbo, I didn't even notice that I made a typo.
