Almost the same question as last time. What's the one repli-car you'd actually own?

Do the thousands of fiberglass/repop steel hot rods count? Because there are some very good ones from Wescott's, Downs, Dynacorn, etc.
The obvious one here
They made a freaking race series out of these things. I'd say that says a lot.
Also:
I shed a tear when the MB destroyed it, the replica sure looked well done.
If they are copies of the original, then they are replicas. Yes?
So these fit the bill and then there is no contest really.

I have seen a Hawk HF and a Lancia Stratos in person and I have to say that the Hawk might have been better made than the original.

I did consider the D-type as I really love those, but Lynx cars are so friggen expensive its not funny. Yes, cheaper than a real one, but still way beyond the realm of us in GRM land. I place those along side an Ida Tucker replica.

One of my neighbors has one of those. I always wondered what it was. I don't want to own one, but it's nice to be able to identify it.
Yup, I'm starting to get that feeling about Hawks. Like static electricity building. Check back with me in five years or so...
