It looks like I'm gonna need a set of wheel spacers for my Opel GT. Background: OEM wheels are 5X13, +25ET, 4X100. Picked up a set of E30 BMW BBS Basketweaves in 6X14, +30ET, 4X100. Look good on the car and going from 13" to 14" does open up a little more tire choice. I found they still make BFG Radial T/A with raised whitewall letters in 14" so that's what I'm getting for the old school look.

Back to the wheels. No issues on trial fit on the rear but a spacer would move it out in the wheelwell and fill it better. Trial fit on the front and turn the wheel and the wheel just barely hits the upper A-arm. Thinking a spacer of 1/8" or a little less would move the wheel out enough to not hit. The difference in +25ET to +30ET wouldn't have mattered if the rims where the same width but add that 1" wider wheel and it moved the inside of the wheel too close to the A-arm.

Now, this is the first time I've ever messed with wheel spacers and don't know where to get them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I think I bought mine from FVD Brombacher, but they were made by H&R. They are very nicely made.

I've had good results using these

That looks like what I'm looking for. Knew someone here would have the answer.

If you use the same hub bore as E30's VW options from ECS Tuning are nice too. I have a 5mm and 10.5mm sets I don't use anymore, but we're pretty nice. The 10.5's were an odd fitment though.

Machine a set of Fiero rotors to be 4x100 instead of 5x100 and you get 3/4" of built in spacer per side. Alternately, get a set of 4-to-5 lug converters for the back and they'll space the rear out right so that a nice cheap set of 5x100 rims can go on all around.

I ran a set of 35mm offset 16x7 rims on my GT with 1" spacers on the front and had no issues. That's about as thin as you can get in the "adapter" style of spacer I trust to run on a daily driver. If you are going to run the type that slips over your studs than at least take the front apart and ream the holes out enough that you can install some quality wheel studs. I've broken off several of the original Opel ones just tightening up lug nuts with the stock tire iron.

Umm, They are 1/8" spacers, not adaptors.
Hubs are 4x100, wheels are 4x100.
No structural issues, mounted in compression between the wheelface and the hubface.
I'd just hack them out myself from 1/8" aluminum plates with hand tools.
No precision required.
