I have seen some hideous steering wheels. Im not liking any recent Toyota wheel i've seen.

My Neon steering wheel sort of sucks. It's ugly, too large of diameter, and too thin of rim.

Kind of ugly but I have this on my car and it fits my hands very well. Better than the dino I had on there but took off and went back to the OE wheel.

loved the Grant wheel that i had in my Nova... sorry i don't have a better pic... it's a reproduction of some early 70's Camaro or Chevelle wheel:

i've got a Lumina Z34 wheel that i've put in several cars, and it's made driving each one of them better. here it is in my 74 Monte Carlo:

the wheel in my T Type is also pretty awesome. the same wheel was used in Grand Nationals from 84-87:

i've also had a couple of late 70's Mustang steering wheels that i liked a lot..

I love that wheel! I happened to find one in a G20 conversion van on a trip to Pick-n-Pull, it replaced the stock 4-spoke "bus" wheel in my Extended cab Chevy truck. Bolted right in.

In reply to novaderrik:

That reminds me of something I did with a '78 Regal I used to own. I HATED the spaghetti thin O.E. wheel and one day a junk jeep Cherokee landed behind the shop where I worked at the time. Of course I gave it a good once over and I liked the steering wheel. I snagged it and was pleasantly surprised when the splines matched and the wheel fit!

Wish I still had that car...

hmm... that Jeep wheel looks kinda NASCARish... might have to keep an eye out for one if i ever go out to a junkyard again...
i like a bigger wheel- they are more comfortable for me in daily driving, and give more leverage when turning...

It definitely had a nice feel to it. I'm still passively looking for a wheel with a bit more girth for the Lincoln.

Those wheels feel great but they're awful to look at.

Airbags are so small now that it doesnt really limit design at all. There are lots of steering wheels with tiny airbag sections.
