I just saw a Comanche today that had a 2.4 turbo swap from a PT Cruiser with a ford rwd auto trans behind it. The PT turbo motor is essentially a lesser version of the SRT4 engine so it's stout with plenty of room to grow.
It would make for a really neat swap for sure!

Smells like someone might have made an SFI bellhousing for a C4 trans. Which would be AWESOME

The issue is that oil pump hanging out under the front main cap, so Fords require a certain amount of depth at the front. The Fox "double sump" pans were really just rear sump, with just enough of a droop in the front to cover the oil pump.

The car in question already has three on the tree and the anemic 196 cid straight six... I'm guessing it won't get out of its own way, not that it was ever designed to do any more than that.
Barney Navarro thought it might have had some potential.
