People need to be told where there fingers are?

5 buttons on each side of the wheel. I'm sure an owner would get used to them, but its fantastic if you are renting/borrowing/drive it very infrequently/etc.

Probably one of those things that the public just doesn't want...they're busy enough looking at their cell phones, ipads, and nav screens anyway, not enough time to actually look out any part of the windshield.
How long before the HUD starts showing that stuff?

Looks like Kia is working on that for you right now. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/01/07/kia-previews-next-gen-infotainment-systems-at-ces/

And thoughts on Audi's new take of a dashboard/radio/nav all in one. http://www.autoblog.com/2014/01/07/audi-tt-interior-ces-2014/

And I do enjoy the 8th/9th gen Civics forward display of speed, gas, and now the sequential shift light (not a vtec meter GRM staff - SE QEN TIAL SHIFT LIGHT. There is a VTEC engagement light above that). Still not a HUD.

I would like the HUDs on GMs a lot more if they weren't that pale, sickly green. And I've never noticed them to block the road - mainly because they are semi-transparent?

I drove my FIL's C6 a few times. Im 6'1" and with the seat in a comfy position, Im too tall for the HUD to be viewed properly. If I slouch down, I was able to view it ok-ish. Dunno if it can be adjusted, but at a glance, it was awkward and annoying. If it could be tweaked a bit, I think I wouldve liked it a bit better.

A ticket has already been given to someone wearing these while driving. Don't know who, what, when, or where.

Our GMC can be adjusted up and down a good deal. Also the brightness or transparency is adjustable as well

So even toyota doesn't expect people to actually drive a pious?
