Last week I asked about steering Dampners.. well, here is the replacement to the original, stock, 74,000 mile one that was on my disco. The upgraded one from "old man emu"

As you can tell, compared to the old one, it is a lot larger in diameter (and more yellow) but around town feel is the same. It is only when leaning the big disco into a hard corner do I feel anything different.. and that feel is a complete lack of shakes through the steering wheel. While already a good steer, between it and the new tierods, I lost a lot of numbness and some vagueness out of the steering. I hope the larger diameter dampner will also help when I start doing more towing.

And I thought that replacing was the reason for an upgrade...

Okay, so when you get your prince albert done, you want to get it "gauged", so that you can run your carabiner through, and hang box end wrenches on the carabiner. Hands free.
