My 2008 Tundra has a bad "TPMS Receiver/Antenna". Its a little black box that bolts to the ceiling of the cab near the back window, held in with a single 10mm bolt. You don't have to remove the whole headliner, just pull the rear-most section down and you can get to it. They are currently not available from Toyota, and none listed on ebay. A google search brings up a few dealers that list the part at about $500. Even if they possibly have the part (which I don't think they do), I'm not willing to pay $500.
So, if anyone's heading to a junkyard this weekend, and willing to check, I'd hugely appreciate it! I stopped by the only local yard that had one listed yesterday, and the part was already gone. Part number 89760-0C010. I believe it can be pulled from a 2007-2017 model. I will gladly pay for your time etc. Thanks!
There is an '07 at the one by me. No promises, but if I have time I will swing by and check it out.

Wish I could help, but it looks like no Tundras that new in you pull yards around me.

There's an 08 at the yard I'm going to tomorrow. I'll grab it if it's there. Doesn't seem like a part that would be taken.
Really, in the headliner? I wondered where they put these so to be convenient to all 4 corners of the car.
Man, this one is tough to find on Car-Part. Usually stuff like this all gets lumped under "Comptuer Box Not Engine". The Suspension (TPMS) and Power Supply (power source control) both look close, but not quite right. The location is wrong and the part numbers are just a little different. The Tundra has a lot of non-engine computer boxes in it, and apparently Car-Part doesn't know about this one, or I just haven't found the right place to look yet...
If you can't find a U-Pull source, I bet you could call any yard that lists either of those other modules, describe the one you need, and get them to pull it for <$100, though.
In reply to Stampie :
Thanks!
Unfortunately it seems to be a more common issue than I'd have thought.
Ah-ha, found one on Car-Part under Misc. Electrical:
Call for price isn't a good sign, but it's a lead.
In reply to obsolete :
With car-part, it has been my experience that JYs list these items to the site themselves. Therefore when it comes to the odd/minutia items, the yards never bother to list these low demand items.
In that case, I change my search criteria to something the are likely to have bothered to actually list like door, hood, seat, etc. Maybe headliner in this case. Then, when I hit on a JY that has the vehicle, I call them to inquire further. In that phone call, I would then really play down the importance of the item so the unsuspecting shop doesn't get wind of the perceived retail.
So, I ran car-part looking for a rear seat to a Tundra on 2007-2017 (a big part that gets listed but low demand for the part because if the rear seat was sold the vehicle would not show up in the search)
Thirteen Tundras at just this one JY in Largo, FL There are 2.5 pages of Tundra rear seats within 1 hour of the OP.
In reply to John Welsh :
That junkyard you posted is 2 miles from the one I stopped at yesterday. Thats frustrating. There are indeed a lot of Tundras near me, but almost all of them are the first gen.
Edit: called Clearwater Auto Recycling (the site at the link), they are not a "u-pull-it" type of yard and the guy says he has no tpms receivers and no tundras "in the yard"
In reply to Lof8 - Andy :
Their website seems down but there is a place in Riverview called Florida-Dial-A-Part that is showing 17 Tundra rear seats on car-part.

No Tundras!? Ask him to search to see if he has any Tundra rear seats. The site says he does. Maybe he pulled the seats and put them on a rack? Not likely. They probably are just bad at taking cars off the site when they're gone.

I called them. "We don't pull that small stuff" was his response. Gave him the part number anyway. No luck.
In reply to Lof8 - Andy :
See, and he doesn't bother to list the small stuff either. At what price could he be enticed to go pull???
So far you're not even down half a page of the 2.5 pages of Tundra rear seats within one hour of you.

I'm about an hour south of Clearwater. There are 2 yards that I'd consider "close" to me in Bradenton, and they don't have any of the 2nd gen tundras. I've sent out a bunch of emails. I appreciate the help!
I found an 08 Tundra close to you on Row52, though looking at the date it was added it very well may not be there any more:

Anybody else a little bit surprised that this seems to be a Tundra only part? It looks like it isn't even a Sequoia part, but I'd have put good money on it being the same for everything from a Yaris to an LX500.
If someone were to find one of these is there a field test to determine if the part is good?

Hmmm. None that I know of
Snagged one this morning from a local yard I didn't even know existed! Headed home to test it now.
Warning light is fixed!!!!!
if someone has Stampie's #, please tell him I don't need the part anymore.

Was just about to pull this. Should I anyway? Might be a good eBay sell.
I'd say it's def a good eBay sell! At $500 for new ones that are NLA, I'd think you can pull some cash
