In reply to Marjorie Suddard: That's great. If you ever need a care package of cincinnati specific items(chili, goetta, graeters) please don't hesitate to ask

In reply to Tom Suddard: I had to move on. Most of the floor was made from White Castle boxes and carpet padding and things were starting to fall out on to the roadway. It was traded in on the wife's Fiat and I upgraded to a not quite as rusty or French fry laden Malibu.
I got home late last night. My wife had already brought in the mail. Awaiting for me was both the white, large envelope of mystery as well as the latest GRM. I reasoned that it could not be coincidence that the gifts and the mag arrived on the same day. It must be divine intervention (or at least Tom intervention.)
What could it be? What could it be?
The first prize out of the package was a black hat from HVDA 5 speed conversions.
The second prize is PowerFlex front and rear sway bar bushings for a Miata. Again, was it the work of the divinity or at least the Tominity but I do in fact have a Miata that could use these.
Third prize was GRM stickers.
The absolute Grand Prize was the most unassuming...just one plain, unmarked DVD.
Seems it is out-takes from the much awaited and much anticipated GRM buddy-travel show; the GRM version of RoadKill. So as not to be a spoiler, I will not relieve the name but I have uploaded clips to here.
Tom's desk/office may now be cleaner. This photo just shows that my desk is now messier (but in all honesty, it was messy before this arrived too.)
It was a virtual cornucopia of gift and prizes!
Thanks GRM
I shall not beg. I shall not regale you with a sob(or saab) story. If I am chosen, then I shall accept the responsibility handed to me. If not, I congratulate the victors.
That said, if you sent me the keys to the 911, I will gladly fly down to take delivery of the rest of it.
I got my swag yesterday. I promised I'd post pics.
A Wix air filter and what I think is a Subaru key fob.
My wife said "they paid $10 to send you their trash? I thought OUR garbage tags were expensive!"
I didn't have a good retort.
And next time you do this, remember that only two people were grateful enough to post pics....
I would be happy to continue the giving to The Good Dr.
I too have much unwanted work stuff.
Send me your address and I will include a couple, new, still packaged, golf shirts, sizes 2XL with logos of companies that I no longer represent.
I have a couple of ink cartridges to company supplied printers that have been returned but the unopened, never used cartridges are still here. HP15 Black and HP 78 Color. Manufactured 8-04 and 10-04. Get 'em before they are 10 years old!
More old cellphones than you can imagine. Are you interested in a Blackberry (is anyone, really) or how about something for the Nextel Network?
How about a Samsung SCH-U430 flip phone, never used but made for the Canadian KooDo network?
Boxes of business cards with phone numbers and email addresses that are no longer relevant.
All these items (other than the shirts) are right at my fingertips w/o getting out of my desk chair.
Act now and I will include a GRM sticker since I am recently flush with them.
Tom Suddard wrote: Hey, that WIX filter was new, man!
haha. I think I'm actually going to use that filter to filter the air coming out of my blast cabinet.
See? I knew you'd love it.
That fob is for our 818's donor car, btw. There's a Subaru body computer somewhere that will respond to it.
Somewhere.
It's a Major Award. I won it! Some JDM goodness to improve my Malibu. I was impressed that they thought to include the parking brake cover since I'm sure it's been some time since anything from that side of the Pacific had a footbrake.
I still have some "urban outdoorsmen" available if anyone feels disappointed they missed out on the goodies here.
Frah-gee-lay... hmmmm, must be French:
It's like you knew I had an accumulation of odd-ball bottles down in "Fermentation Station!
Welcome to your new home soldier:
(Keep a look out on e-bay for the autographed letter from Margie. I'm thinking that with the $$$ it'll pull I may be able to quit my job and focus on my Alfa project)
You'll need to log in to post.
