Why? Because I pulled out the summer rims. Mounted & balanced the Pirelli's I forgot I had in storage for the last couple years and got everything on the car.
It is amazing how well the car drives when you take the snow tires off LOL.
It is so nice to be back to driving on roads made of Velcro instead of the squiggle and squirm that the snow's created.
And he best part is I found the supper annoying rattle that has plagued me for a year or so. The heat shield by the catalytic converter was cracked and had come loose. Drilled new mounting holes and re secured and the rattle is no more!!!
Next up replacement of the oil pressure sender and replacement and a front main seal.

I greatly dislike you right now. GREATLY.

Wow. We hit 95 a month ago. It'll be north of 90 today as well.
It's been winter here for 7 months now. We did get a chinook in and I was wearing a t-shirt for 3 days two weeks ago. And he next winter is supposed to be similiar as one of the oceans temperature is apparently quite low (so if I am lucky we will have t-shirt weather for 4 months at best this year).
Someday, I'm moving to Texas or Arizona (the dream of every Albertan).
Edit-
Did I mention last weekend it was -20C further up north with windchill/blowing snow of -30C? Uhg. Luckily I just stood around and told people what to do.

I spent twenty minutes inching along the interstate in a sudden snow flurry yesterday.

That's a little on the warm side of comfortable. We'll get there eventually, but I don't think we've topped 87 this year.
Sunny and 75 here with a nice breeze (and some yellow pollen) blowing in through the screen door. Beautiful!

I have driven in blizzard conditions on Starspecs
Yea, must be.
Listening to the county scanner the dispatch calls are coming in on warm days.... MC accident, rider(s) laying in the roadway.
Almost like a spring ritual.... be careful out there.

Mowed the grass at both houses today... Yeah, I'd say Winter is over...
In reply to HiTempguy:
I wonder how many people reading this have no idea what a chinook is. (Not the helicopter, smart ass)
Last week I took off the snow tires AND fixed my motorcycle on the same day. Yes, I pretty much guaranteed one more snowstorm by doing that.
First mow of the season happened about 22 hours ago. 73° and no humidity...a rare treasure in Cincinnati where we usually have 2 seasons each year - winter and OMFGHOTTERTHANHELL

As soon as I read that sentence, I was going to post exactly what you referred to in parentheses
