Announcers talk way too much and can't even get the moves right. Constantly fumbling over their own words. Just shut up and turn up the engine sounds. Good racing though.
The 2nd race of the season is on tomorrow morning, with the TV broadcast of both races on Sunday, April 7th @ 12:30 EDT on NBC sports.
one of my friends ran into Randy Pobst at the event and had a Martin Sports Car Club shirt on. Mr Pobst was like whoa hey that's where I got my start glad to see you representing! Always cool to hear of these guys being down to earth thanks for the heads up racerfink. Setting dvr meow.
Randy is totally down to earth. I spent some time with him this weekend, and he'll gladly drop what he's doing to talk cars--or motorcycles, his other love.
Got to chat with him at Petit one year. We got to talking about Sciroccos. Great guy for a Vegan!
