Finally moving into a little house and I will have my own small space to wrench on my car. The area is at a bit of an incline. I won't be crawling under the car, but it is due for a tie rotation. Is something like this manageable to do minor things on while the car is flying in the air on jack stands? Here's a picture -

I've done much more on my much steeper driveway. I'll only lift one side or one axle at a time though. That way I can use multiple wheel chocks.

Just make sure you have the car supported securely, which includes chocks. That looks a lot nicer than many of the "flat" areas I've worked on cars in.

Cute house! Congrats man.

It's tough to say from a pic but if I had any doubts I'd jack up the car and put it on jack stands (but don't take off the wheels) and really shake/push/jostle it and see if anything shifts.

Aight, probably should trade in my dinky 3 ton jack stands then? Get something like a 6 ton with wide points.

I can't tell, but it looks like the bricks are pretty level. I wouldn't worry about it :)

I would not be using axle stands. One wheel at a time should be ok if everything else chocked.
