Trim clip removers?
The one on the right looks like a trim clip removal tool (or a crank removal tool for a manual crank-up window).
They both look like trim tools. I've got a set of nylon ones that have ends pretty much just like that.

Bingo. Make removing door panels a lot easier.
I am told the slot is only 1/4" wide

That's what I told the guy who sent me the pic. He said he's had them 30 years, and didn't remember ever using them for that type of push pin.
