It is the best color available, so it's got that going for it.

More is better, right? So AWD CRX is better than 2WD?

I’m awaiting a 6WD CRX.

Duallie, deuce-and-a-half, or tyrrell style?

Also, I'm not seeing the evidence of rust - it looks pretty clean, actually.  Although in addition to needing a back window, it looks like brakes aren't included.  Some sort of fuel-containing system might be a good idea, too.  Perhaps a cooling system...  Upside:  No exhaust manifold, so no need to remove anything to slap a turbo on there!

When viewed from above, I’m thinking like this. The front of the car is at the top of the graphic. The X’s, of course, represent the tires.

I'm pretty sure you could potentially convert the first gen to 4WD using parts from the wagon. Not sure if it was ever done but it would be interesting. And of course, there's the twin engine option.

Kudos to the builder for getting the rear end figured out. Now there's just all the stuff involved in making it actually move :)

AWD conversions for 2nd gen CRX and other EF Civics is pretty common now.  You can buy full kits for it.

I've never owned a CRX, but for some reason just the other day I was thinking about what it would take to convert one to AWD.  It would make for a neat all weather vehicle.

I think the odds are it's closer to the $2000 Challenge bracket than the advertised $9,999,999 one. cool
