Morgan Aero 8

UI know I can afford it but it would pt a cramp into my other hobbies. There is even a silver and blue one for sale in Texas that had California registration right now at around 70K

Damn, between you guys and the latest issue of Classic Motorsports I've gained quite a hankering for a 308. The black "centerfold" in the issue made my pants tight.

In the real world, I'd end up with this first though. Not as outright sexy, but can be cheaper to purchase, MUCH cheaper to maintain no-matter the purchase price, faster, and pushes all the right buttons.

Oh yeah, I've also been wanting an old wagon with one of these.

Or even a 5.0 if the price was right.

When I think of owning a Ferrari, I can't help but think of the associated costs to owning ANY Ferrari....

oil filters, air filters, brakes, the list goes on and on....

but with unlimited budget.....

For now... I'll stick with my little hotrod

My current automotive lust is to find a good bodyman and...

get him to finish my truck. I am so sick of seeing it sit in my garage, and I have no time at all. Boring, yes? It's like if you asked about the other kind of lust, and the answer was "to sleep with my wife".

My current 'practical' lust was this close || to being a reality: I went to an auction to bid on a '98 Lexus GS400 to turn into a Lemons car. It would have been possibly the fastest Lemons car to date, with 300hp and can be stripped to below 2700lbs. But there was one other guy that decided to bid and got it just outside of my comfort zone. I would have had to spend so much time recouping that I wouldn't have had time to actually build it. Ahh well, the same day I found a free 240 wagon so that might be my slow Lemons car instead.

Honestly, that's enough for me. Life's too short for the drama that comes with any wandering!

Well me too, but it makes for a boring story. That was the point.

My latest shiny distraction is four wheel steering. Specifically, four wheel steering in 3rd gen Preludes with H series swaps . . .

In reply to Maroon92:

For some reason, I like the "four eyes" ones, especially the '85-86, the best. I have promised myself that one of those is next on my list if I ever get rid of the Shelby CSX I have now. I would absolutely love to have one of those with the new '11 5.0 under the hood.

Back when I lived in SoCal, there was somebody who drove a t-bird all painted up like that (and some chrome modulars, to complete the look). It was really cool.

I have a disease..this week my automotive lust has drifted from a lightly modded nc miata, to a restomodded late c3 corvette, to a mint FB rx7 gsl-se, and finally to an fc rx7 gtu. It is only Tuesday! However, in a few months I will have about $10k to play with.
