I ran across this on YouTube and thought I would share. Cool stuff.
I must have watched "Freestylin' USA" 100 times as a kid.
These old VHS tapes used to advertise hot rockin' soundtracks but after a year or two they'd lose the rights to the music (if they had them at all) and replace it with the library music like you hear on this one. I recognize some of those songs as used on ESPN's monster truck, mud racing, Mickey Thompson Indoor Off-Road and pulling coverage in the '80s. Or how about that one at 21:30 that's half "Eye of the Tiger" and half Italo Disco?
In reply to NY Nick :
I possibly still have my vhs copy somewhere. Vids like this & Freestylin' magazine were pretty much our only connection to the sport from our isolated tiny rural town.
And for some modern flatland freestyle, check out:
For pools and ramps,my old friend, Chelsea Wolfe. :)
For some old school riding:
And just to get blown away, Brad Simms.
