Didn't want to clutter up Cousin_Eddie's GoldWing thread with this, but I noticed that a few people there mentioned mounting their own tires.
A couple of my bikes need new tires, but they're of a vintage that they still require tubed tires. I'm assuming changing those is similar to changing bicycle tires and tubes, just heavier and more annoying? Any good resources for tools and how-tos?
I also noticed the mention of DynaBeads, how well do these work with tubed tires on a street bike?

I have a jig on an old Black and Decker work mate to hold the wheel down either by the rotor or sprocket, and use regular tire changing spoons to dismount them. Make sure you push the tire off the bead all the way around and into the center of the rim. You need the slack in the tire to easily get it over the rim on one side to get it off.
I use this tool that she puts on at :38 for mounting. Once you've used it a few times it's as easy as it looks in the video.
I believe there are US copies of that tool available.
