You should pick on up Nick--- they are great bikes! There was one for sale locally that has to be the nicest in existence--- $4K. Kinda pricey, but the thing looked brand new. Mine has it's share of rough edges, but it's still a blast to ride---- and with aftermarket pipes--- they sound killer!

'76 RD400, Engine by Scott Clough, it runs pretty well. A replica of the first bike I bought new.

Royal Enfield 750. Not as fast as the reputation would lead you to believe, but it has its strong points:

BSA 650 Lightning, 1970. Originally sold in Germany, I was the second owner:

Two more GS1000Gs. I like these, and I keep one in Oregon, So Cal, and Maine. So comfortable, so durable, so capable, and so cheap.

The one in Maine has a 1983 D Port 1100 motor, so its my favorite of the three

Nope.

Tillamook Bay, OR

I have a place across the street from Lake Sebasticook in Newport, ME, and one on Hermon pond in Hampdon, ME. I've been to Millinocket, of course. I can't wait to go to Limestone for speed trials, ha ha!!

Add yet one more reason to get pulled over on the raptor.....blue running lights in the headlamps. Good news, it runs again. Still don't have turn signals, horn, plate light, or an easily viable plate for that matter....

OK, you twisted my arm.

'94 XR650L a buddy gave me after it sat outside for four years. I pulled it apart (a couple of times) down to the short block, put a Hot Cams stage 1 in there, a Staintune exhaust, re-bearinged the swingarm, put YZ 450??? upside down forks on it, along with those used red wheels. Corbin seat, RZ 350 headlight, Oil cooler, powder coated frame, franke tank, etc, etc. Good bike.

Found these old polaroids in a box. circa 1985. Its a 69 Honda Mini Trail 50 with the motor from a very peaky 74 Honda Cr125 Motocross bike. Two stroke, 6 speed. Terrifying! Note the dead man switch/cable on the left.

I've owned the bike for over a year now but haven't taken any pics before today. The light was nice and flat just before a thunderstorm so I took a few pics from the phone. The bike is pretty stock except for fender delete, illuminated plate bracket and LED rear brake light with integrated flashers. All I want to do is a slightly more aggressive exhaust. Color similarity with the goat is purely coincidental.

My wife Jessica's Marauder, the black paint and gold pin stripe are factory, I repainted the dark green to purple for her. I still need to paint and install her bags. Just need her to stop riding it long enough for me to do the work.. lol

My '79 CX500 Hard tail project.. and what a project it is. It is getting a total rebuild. When you find that the hard tail was JB welded on, that's not a good thing... right???

I do like the white lettering on those Michelins. Gonna have to remember that when I need tires.

As much as I want to try all the different bikes, I don't think it's going anywhere. Costs me under $5 a week to get back and forth to work. And other than oil and tire changes practically requires no other maintenance. It's a pretty good commuter.
