Isn't maintaining a motorcycle half of owning a motorcycle? I thought there was something Zen about it?
Is there anything that would be impossible for me to do on my own? Obviously the braking system, cooling system, and oil would need to be changed periodically, and I am reasonably mechanically competent. When it comes to electronics, though, I let the pros do the work.
I guess I will have to look at the maintenance schedules on them. How many miles in a year is too many for a bike?
Maroon, first of all, congrats on the new gig. Second, [buzzkill] don't buy anything that you don't need until you've had a chance to stack some savings from the new job. [/buzzkill]

No need for the buzzkill. I am stuffin' the paper under the mattress for the time being. I won't be buying for at least 2-3 months as People sell two wheeled transport a bit cheaper when there is snow in the air! I just wanted to start researching before I dove in.
I have some decent savings from the old job, and hope to add to that with the new gig... (And maybe more from the sale of some crappy projects. Subliminal::YOU KNOW YOU WANT A SUPRA OR TWO!::Subliminal)
Yamaha IT490. Big two stroke FTW
