65K miles, Clean CarFax, local 2 owner w/ dealer service records. Heated leather seats w/ memory, heated power mirrors. Single disc CD, back-up camera. Clean car. Dealer list $13,995.

Time to park the S197 soon, I pass this car every day on my commute, been there prolly 5 months.... it's been calling my name.

What's GRM pricing say? Cash price, no financing, no trade.

Kinda steep IMO.

I bought a 2005XiT wagon with 35K on it w/ winter package in very nice shape back in Feb of 2009 for $15k even. That was a pretty good deal back then but 4yrs later... I'd expect to buy the same car for $10k today w/ 70k miles.

Do a quick scan of prices on cars that actually sold on ebaymotors to see what they really go for before you engage.

appears to be full retail pricing. $13.9 is moving into e90 territory. Non ix 2006s with lower miles are listing at 12.9. I think 11k would be a decent buy.

Carfax said dealer price was $980 over comparable sales. I dunno about using KBB and Nada, they're just too iffy.

Bit steep and do get a ppi from an experienced bmw shop. Even at 65k you could be looking at a long list of required service on that car.

That's a 10-11k car.
