Only a four door, short bed.  The WT was pushing $40,000 and the best one with every option is almost $70,000?  With tax and title near me I'm at $78,000?

I heard cool things about the ZR2 but not cool $78,000 things.....

The top trim of any vehicle with the most extensive and expensive possible collection of options and accessories tacked on has always been stupid expensive for what the base vehicle is. A reasonably (IMHO) equipped ZR2 isn't much over $50k MSRP.

I'm beginning to think that I will not buy another new vehicle in my lifetime.  These prices are ridiculous.

In reply to Driven5 :

I did try to add all the options and I got carried away.

You can get a Chevy winch package and a $690 off road driveshaft as an option (?????).

If it makes you feel any better, the Army is spending $100k more than that for each ISV which is based the ZR2 (Infantry Squad Vehicle, and unit cost is hard to calculate).

I decided that 30 years ago after my wife decided she needed a new Lincoln Continental.  She actually admitted I was right, but not to my face.
