49ers would have to give up (3) 1st round picks or (2) 1st rounders and a good player. They are not going to give him away but Garrett has some leverage because in March the Browns have to do some major restructuring to make the cap, which has been ruined by Watson. Now if the tiktok video that surfaced with DW4 without his boot, that likely led to the reinjury and they take him to court that could help. I am not opposed to the trade, but I think it's 51/49, the Browns are likely to keep him, the cap hit is going to drive it.
Obviously I'd love to have Garrett line up next to Hutch for the Lions, but I'm afraid of the cost. I hate hate hate taking draft picks away from Brad Holmes. Plus, the cap issues when we are already paying a bunch of dudes, with more coming up soon (like Hutch).
Not much trash talk...
Superbowl predictions? I was going with Chiefs over Commanders before the conference games, but I'm glad I didn't say it out loud. Ugh.
Chiefs by 3. Mahomes is inevitable.
Travis Kelse is in New Orleans. Local TV interviews him. "I don't like Gumbo" he says.

I completely agree with him, but stronger.

The Cheats got what they deserved.
Rats. I wanted them both to lose.

How so? Great display of old school physicality by the Eagles. They deserved to win!
Wotta beatdown! :)
It's a fresh new world. I hear birds singing, and the sun is peeking through the clouds. What a beautiful day to be alive!

Because it was a completely boring game.
I agree that the Eagles deserved to win, although I didn't have much of a preference either way. And yes, it was a beatdown, but beatdowns aren't interesting.

We were told how great the Chiefs defense was. Had that showed up, the game would have been more interesting. Especially if the eagles starters had to be on the field to prevent that last, pointless TD by KC.

Probably depends on if you are an Eagles fan. I thought it was a great game! ![cheeky cheeky](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)
While the Chiefs did a great job generally shutting down the Eagles' running game it cost them to some extent. I kept hoping Barkley would eventually break out a big run but in the end he didn't need to.

I didn't make it to half time. I may have stayed for the show, but rap interests me less than the first half.
In reply to 914Driver :
I didn't watch the halftime show... but that was mostly because I was watching the game at my mother's house and she has even less interest in rap music than I do, so we changed the channel to one of the programs she usually watches on Sunday nights and went back to the game when that show ended at the top of the hour. Missed one possession, but no major plays.
As an old stage work guy, I can usually appreciate the halftime show for what it takes to make it happen even if I don't have much interest in the artists performing. The show wasn't for me and that's fine. A lot of others enjoyed it.

Seems like it cost them the game. They should have scored 37 offensive points instead of 33, but one poor throw to Barkley stopped them on the one. Hurts picked apart that D.
And I don't fault KC for doing that- the only game we saw Hurts that dominant was two weeks ago- and there was a ton of analysis of how bad the passing was. I do fault them for not adjusting, though. But it sure made for a less interesting game seeing a good D play pretty badly.
Beatdowns are only interesting if the beater is your home team, in which case it's like watching a highlight reel. For the zillions of people who wanted a good game, yawnfest.

It looked like the chiefs spent the last two weeks gamplanning to stop Barkley and completely forgot to do anything else.
Actually this game reminded me a lot of the 2003 Super Bowl where the Bucs, with new coach Jon Gruden, beat the formerly Gruden-led Raiders. The Bucs were so clearly ahead of the curve on defense largely due to having one of the architects of their opponent's offense prepping them. The Eagles played the same kind of game against the Chiefs, never even giving Mahomes time or space to try and make something happen. Heck the Chiefs didn't even get into Philly territory until near the end of the third quarter. Philly DBs were blowing up routes like they were a step ahead the whole time, and that's when Mahomes could even get the ball off.
So, yeah, maybe not a traditionally "good" game by competitive standards, but honestly really compelling to watch just to see the consistently high level the Eagles were operating at all night. You basically kept waiting for that "Well sooner or later Mahomes and Kelce will expose something and it will be game on" and the Eagles just kept shutting it down before it even got started.

I disagree. Having seen the Chiefs find a way to win all season, I wasn't sure how big a lead for the Eagles would be insurmountable. If they had found a way to put up a few of those quick touchdowns on long throws by Mahomes, they might have made a game of it.
As it was, I was enthralled pretty much the entire game, absolutely savoring the sweet, sweet stomping of the Chiefs.
Waiting to hear from the conspiracy theorists convinced that the NFL scripts everything and wants the Chiefs to win about the outcome.....
Not having a rooting interest for either team, I thought it was great to watch the Eagles play a great all-around game.

And if you want some context on how well the Philly D was executing, they sacked Mahomes six times—including a strip sack—and never blitzed a single time the entire game.
Tubi worked flawless for me for watching the Super Bowl for Free (Fox doesn't come in great with my Antenna). Hopefully Indycar can integrate it not only indy 500 but other races.
