No matter the standings, the Lions in the Super Bowl would be chaos. They have never been. They may be the #1 NFC team, but until they get there, they will continue to be the underdog.

He doesn't elevate a team and the Packers and Cowboys players gave up on him. I don't understand the allure, however if Bowles is out at Tampa it would probably be a easy fit because he can continue to the status qou there.
Because he has done reasonably well as a coach. As much as we have seen a wave of young coaches, there are still owners that would rather take a known degree of success than risk a rookie coach. And I'd bet the bears have gotten to that point.
I'm rooting for a Bills - Lions Superbowl. I want to see two teams that have never won one duke it out, and I think that would be by far the most entertaining matchup. Both teams are exciting to watch. I am not confident we'll get that.
Anything but the Chiefs again. But somehow, I bet they will make it and likely win the thing despite all odds. Now I know how non-Patriots fans felt for so long.

I agree with this post except I was never a Pats fan

You need to be a special kind of stupid to be a Pats fan. You know, like me.
That's OK, I used to be a Raiders fan.

No chaos this year.

I am the last guy to embrace conspiracy theory, but.......
This one hurts. To come in with such promise, win 15 games, the division and the #1 seed, then go out in the first playoff game to a rookie QB... It just sucks. There will be a million post-mortems on the season. The defensive injuries finally caught up to them. Having both our coordinators spending the break doing job interviews rather than prepping probably didn't help. And, there are no two ways about it, Jared Goff was bad.

Lamar didn't fumble after getting the ball and didn't drop a pretty easy pass. Took more than just him to choke.
Literally every single team I've been pulling for in the playoffs has lost. Until last night. Go Buffalo!
Please someone tell me something about the Chiefs that will make me like them because at this point I think a threepeat is inevitable and I can't much bring myself to care.

Lamar DID fumble, for a scoop and (eventual) score.

It's hard not to like Andy Reid. And the 'stache.
In reply to llysgennad :
He also brought them back into the game and made an easy pass to tie the game. Which was dropped.
Lamar didn't pay perfect, but that was a team loss, not one guy.

Wow. I so disagree. I mean, they haven't really beaten anybody all year. They squeak out close wins, even to weak teams. They will fall to any team left in the playoffs that plays a decent game. I guess that leaves the Bills and whoever they meet in the Super Bowl if they squeak out a win against Buffalo.
In reply to alfadriver:
Agreed.
You said he didn't fumble, I pointed out that he did. Plus an interception. Pretty typical Lamar playoff game, which is what Steve said.

They keep finding ways to win, which is what good teams do. And their defense is really, really good. A great defense with a HOF quarterback is enough to beat anyone, even if their offense isn't what it was.
That said, go Bills.
