I've got permission to buy a pressure washer from HF. The two options are the gas powered ones at 2500 and 3100psi. They're $90 apart price wise so I'm wondering if I really need that extra 600 psi. This is mostly for pressure washing the vinyl siding on the house and spraying off cars after rallycross and cleaning super gross car parts.
Before I would buy one from HF, I would look at the Subaru powered PW sold at Costco.
I bought a Ryobi 3100 at HD last week, works well. The rotate to switch nozzle tip is a nice feature compared with switching individual nozzle tips when cleaning sidewalks and driveway that have gum or other stuff like body filler or fiberglass resin stuck here & there. Just stop spraying and turn tip, no need to quick release tip and insert different tip. I opted to spend a little more for the Honda powered Ryobi figuring replacement parts would be more easily available in the future should I wear out pump, hose, etc.
