I've seen what some of us spend on tires and trailers and stuff to support our hobby.  Not going to judge what someone else spends to max out their enjoyment on theirs.

Single screen?!   I would certainty expect triple screens.  It does not look like it's a motion rig either.

I could say, these days, the graphics card might be a chunk of it, but I am not even sure it comes with a computer.

So yes I will absolutely judge an objectively stupid waste of money. I call it objectively stupid because the price is absurd compared to the production cost, it can't even be argued that it has any historical value.

It makes $4200 for this one look reasonable.

I found the $39k listing, but it was only on Amazon and a few very scammy websites. My guess, the amazon seller ran out of stock, raised the price to something insane, then when/if they get stock again, they'll lower it back down to $7,500 or whatever it really is.

$7500 is still pretty crazy for a chair, but not in the same league of crazy as $39k.

Yeah, even at $7500 that's still pretty rich for a fancy chair that doesn't have motion. 

I "built" a new sim rig this summer. Trak Racer for the seat/monitor mount, 3 32" Samsung G5 monitors, Fanatec CSL Elite wheel and pedals with a load cell for the brake, and a pre-built computer from Skytech was right about $6300 for everything. 

Chairs can get very expensive very quickly.

And even the replica's now are starting to edge up on price. You used to be able to find a decent knockoff for around $600. Now the good knockoffs are up over $1k.
