Thought I'd share this since the Eagle following here. Appears garage kept but I'd call the auction service to confirm and get more info and pics.

It kinda gives me that 'only driven to church' vibe.

auction listing

Online bids accepted.  (w/ buyers premium)

I'd love to own another Eagle but I need to move one or two vehicles before that. Ya never know, it could go dirt cheap or go through the trees, depending on the crowd.

36K.... and whitewalls. surprise

edit: So I emailed the auction co. for more pics and info. yes

I haven't seen a non-wagon Eagle for years.  I bet it's been over 30 years since I've seen a Spirit hatch sized unit.

Eagles are great highway cars.  With the extra suspension travel, soft springs and giant sidewalls, they float down the road.  Many are geared tall too----so you can pull 22mph or so.  (which was pretty good back then)

I never should have put more aggressive shocks and tires on my last one.  I totally ruined the "cloud machine" aspect of it.

The auction co. said they don't have any additional pictures or maintenance records. They did confirm it was garage kept and owned by an older couple and should have been maintained well by the condition of it.

Auction is over an hour drive for me, it's tempting just to be there to watch the action on this car but I doubt I'll do it. That 20% online premium can add up fast. I figure the low on that car is $2500 if there's little interest, $4500 w/ a bidding war. $3500 would be reasonable. Gotta figure the locals know about this car, maybe garages and dealers.

Eagle SX4.  Couldn't remember the proper name this morning.  I can't remember if you could buy the
Gremlin shaped one in AWD, but that would be cool too.

Was going to go to the auction, then I saw this:

NOPE!  Not going anywhere near that thing!  I like my soul right where it is.

Seems like a lot for that, maybe I'm out of touch on eagle prices (no maybe).

Thanks for posting that.

That's not a bad price really, considering 36K, garage kept and excellent condition as posted. I figured $3500. They're pretty scarce around here anymore.

I loved my '87 wagon, I'd DD that till the wheels fell off. Maybe there's another one out there w/ my name on it.
