That's how many miles I drove today. It's been a long time since I've pulled a long day like this. I'm too old for it now I think.
What's the most you've done in one go?

1,787 - Rossville, IL to Las Vegas. Then I drove back 2-days later. That was way back in '03, no way in hell I'd do it now. I did Rossville to Naples, FL in '04 but that was only 1200 miles.
Now, doing 850 miles between MS and IL is plenty. Though I've done up & back in 2 days pretty frequently.
About 1000 from Long Island to New Symrna Fl. It was painful in a van pulling a trailer that topped out at about 60mph.
1,020 ish. Van wert ohio to hagerstown maryland and back with a few stops in town. I much prefer staying a while when im down but this trip didnt allow that.
My then-girlfriend (now wife) and I took a long road trip to San Diego around new year's 2000. Three weeks in and we were sick of being on the road. We spent the night in Cibola National Forest, NM (BEAUTIFUL, by the way!) and I started driving the next morning. Saw the sun set behind us, stopped to watch the sun rise on an entrance ramp, and 1600+ miles later we were home. My wife is a good sleeper and slept through a lot of it. Our $1000 Honda Prelude made it but wasn't enthused about it. After a month on the road an 9,000 miles it leaked every fluid and tended to overhead. Sold it for $450 after we got home.
600, Lincoln, CA to Vegas. In a 1991 miata with 1991 miata seats, in 2013. Not fun, and the reason I now limit trips to 2 hours one way in that car.
I'm a light weight, 560-ish on a 1 day round trip Glasgow, Kentucky to Marion, Indiana and back, that involved getting lost a couple times and a side trip to Speedway, Indiana. I did it in a fairly comfy 2011 Honda Crosstour too.

Nobody goes to Marion, IN without good reason except you, James Dean and me; the latter two were born there.
What's your story?
In reply to oldsaw :
Shift Sector Airstrip Attack at the airport. Buddy was supposed to be running his turbo Camaro, which of course blew up a couple days before the event so he didn't get to run it the day I was there.
616 in 9-10 hours. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine to home in Candor, NY. We split the trip out to two days as our friends live halfway.
900-ish miles, from Murfreesboro, TN to Rome, NY. In my Miata. Drove top-down from Murfreesboro to Lodi Station.

You are a beast! That's impressive!
Thanks, though I really should have stopped in Denver for the night(which is what we did w/the family a few years ago), but I had to be in Vegas by a certain time for a work event & they were nice enough to give me the full day off to drive out since I don't fly.
Going through the Rockies in the middle of the night, with extreme fatigue, was really berkeleying with my equilibrium.
Ran the distance from Omaha to Elko NV more than once ~1150 miles. Last time was in an 81 civic with no AC in june. It was a hot trip.
Dumb college kid drove from Boone, NC to Tampa, FL about 700ish miles, on a Friday afternoon/night. Got my first ticket on that trip by State Trooper Bird somewhere in GA on I-95. Picture the biggest built, v-shaped Trooper you’ve ever seen unfold himself from a Crown Vic walking towards your car. Needless to say I was just as surprised as him that a 95 Isuzu Rodeo with a manual and 4wd would do 97 on the interstate. I also don’t think he liked my joke about thinking all the “95” signs were speed limit signs. Thankfully he saw I was a dumb kid and didn’t take me to jail for reckless which looking back I’m sure he could have.
Turned around and did a repeat of it on Sunday. Thankfully, no ticket on the return.
I used to push the 1100 from Texas to Michigan and back. Having kids in the car stopped me from being stupid. The longest I've done Solo in a while was from Houston to the Challenge in one go. Something over 700. It was about an hour longer than I should have driven at my age/fitness.
Depends on your definition of a day! Myself, my girlfriend, and a mutual friend of ours did a two-week road trip in the Expedition that concluded with us cannonballing from the Grand Canyon to Atlanta, about 1800 miles. With stops for food, gas, and at the Cadillac Ranch (at sunrise) we made it in 31 hours. Awesome trip (and I got one of my favorite pictures ever):
Did just south of cleveland to Jacksonville(887) in one shot with 3 fuel stops in February. Did cape canaveral(1022) in one shot a few years back, left at 7pm Christmas night and watched the sunrise over the ocean the next morning.
