A Charlie Brown Christmas was moved to Apple TV several years ago and isn't broadcast on network TV anymore, but this weekend can still be watched for free without having to sign up for the Apple TV streaming service. Just go to https://tv.apple.com, avoid the 'free trial' button at the top of the page, scroll down until you see the show's icon and click on it.
For me, the Christmas season doesn't truly start until I see the show. I've watched it every single year since it first aired in 1965.

Apple TV is why I bought a copy of the Halloween special on DVD on Amazon.
I'm not a holiday fan but I do like CB, Grinch and the old Rankin/Bass shows.
In reply to Jerry :
In an age where programming regularly changes streaming services, I think it's time to buy physical copies of all my holiday favorites.
In reply to Jerry :
I believe they offered the Charlie Brown Halloween show for free as well one weekend, although I missed it this year.

I wish that would work. Many years ago, I got the Band of Brothers box set. Never watched it. I have seen it steaming on NF, though.
In reply to alfadriver :
It's not the DVDs fault.
Vince Guaraldi created one of the finest soundtracks, not just Christmas, but of all time. Linus & Lucy is played constantly, year round.

I loved the books when I was a kid, but could never get into the TV specials.

That's what we've done. It's too hard to keep up with the all the various services and when something is available on which service.
In reply to Appleseed :
I know.... I'm just super lazy.
BTW, I need to add the albums from both Halloween and Thanksgiving to my Guaraldi set.
In reply to alfadriver :
And I need to check out his other work.

CB Christmas is the only Christmas album I own a copy of. It's that good.

Wondering when Charles Schultz will be accused of making fun of hydrocephalic children.
