OJ didn't have two buddies drive up to do the deed with him that are now squawking like stool pigeons. They also have this numbskull on every CCTV camera in the state.

It sounds like it was a really well planned out caper right down to standing in front of your own camera system holding weapons right on schedule.
I guess the NFL does not require their criminals to be proficient, just that they have some go-getter attitude and a can-do spirit.

Sarcasm dude, sarcasm. Its always a 50-50 on a slam dunk case, or a clusterberkeley when someone berkeleys the evidence up.

it doesn't work that way ... you can explain 'til you're blue in the face and the kids are going to idolize those that are in the headlines ... yes there are a lot of really good people in the pros (all the different sports) ... and some of them are hero's to the kids .... but a huge amt. of the kids look to the thugs 'cause they be cool .. don't ya know
many yrs ago Charles Barkley raised hell with an interviewer because he pointed out to CB that he was a role model ... Charles's response was "I'M NOT A ROLE MODEL" ... what he didn't understand was that to kids ... yes he was ... nothing he could do about that
Looks like it just keeps gettin' worse. CNN is reporting he's under investigation for another homicide in 2012 and currently the subject of a civil suit for shooting yet another person in the face. Veritable serial killer, I guess . . .

I feel dirty for having this schmuck on my fantasy team. What a piece of E36 M3.

I don't follow any sort of ball game, they just do not interest me in the least. Thugginess (even the faux variety) also doesn't do a damn thing for me and I refuse to associate with that sort of person. Like my dad said 'you lay down with dogs you get up with fleas' and it doesn't matter how much money they have.

A double homicide...
I heard today that despite getting released by the Patriots the day he was arrested, there was no clause in his contract that allows the patriots to void his contract for something like this so he will still get paid for this year and next, it'll probably be just enough to cover all of his legal fees for the trial.
In reply to SciroccoPhil:
I doubt they'll pay him.....or they'll reinstate him then fire him for not making appearances. Because he isn't getting out of jail.
I heard or read....
No, I didn't... When I started to hear a "timeline" on SportsCenter this morning, all I could think about is- why can't we let the police try to solve the crime? That way it can be presented to a clean jury.
What is with the fascination to solve every crime in the news? If anything, it makes it harder for prosecution to do anything since it's much, much harder to seat a jury. Look at the circus in Florida- just 6 jurors could be found. Are you kidding me?
One more reason why I don't like listening to the news.

He's no OJ, OJ was loved by people outside of football for years. Most people couldn't pick this guy out of a line up, so to speak.
