absolutely.
Don't forget that some "instructors" should have never been allowed to open a Dojo. We had a local guy drinking with his senior students, he decided it was a good idea to shoot apples of each others heads with a .22 pistol. Yeah you guessed it, he shot his student right in the forehead. Sometimes "freestyle" means they don't know what the berkeley they are doing.

First you must decide wether or not this school has anything to teach you. If you think you don't have anything to learn from them, then don't waste their time.
after that, then you have to decide whats more important to you. Learning something new, or recognition of what you already know?
