We have two King Charles Cavaliers, so hair is constantly everywhere.

We have tried multiple different solutions to get hair out of clothes, but nothing seems to work. I can wash a batch of clothes, through the dryer, and many times still come out with enough hair (even just Tshirts) they need to be lint rolled so I don't feel like I should be on a "This is Walmart" Instagram post.

Has anyone found any good solutions? Getting rid of them isn't an option for the fiance, but they will not be replaced as they "age out."

Oof, that's rough. Start buying clothes that match the fur?

When I was young we had a beagle that shed and my wife/girlfriend would come over to visit.

My mom; didn't we tell you not to wear black pants to our house?

I've got nothing.

We buy those tear away strip lint rollers by the case. My dogs and cats aren't too bad fur wise, I don't have any problems with my clothes. But the kids constantly have them on their beds or laps, and wear clothes that attract fur more readily. They lint roll themselves on the way out the door and we leave extras in the cars.

We have 2 that shed. We use the wool dryer balls in the dryer. That seems to help a bunch.

We had several of the wool balls, unfortunately some of the quasi-feral house monkeys have klepto tendencies, so most of them have disappeared into wherever kittens stockpile all the stuff they steal...

We also do palletized lint roller purchases.

My suggestion is to wear Angora. A few dozen stray hairs won't be readily visible.

If you and the animals don't share seating surfaces, it's easier.  But if you're talking about cats, well, never mind.

We vacuum regularly. It helps a little.

We still keep lint rollers by both doors, on the dresser, and in both bathrooms as well as a couple of spares scattered around the house and in most of the cars and motorhome.

With 4 dogs and a cat, there is no getting around it. You just have to deal with the aftermath.

With my dog I brushed him with an undercoat brush regularly and it pulled out an insane amount of hair.  That would cut the shedding down a good bit.

These things are magic on certain furniture and clothes - so much better than a lint roller  Uproot Cleaner⎪Pet Hair Remover⎪Lint Remover

I personally get shed control shampoo and conditioner for my dog and give him a deep brush after his baths to get rid of any loose hair. He sheds like nobody's business. Since I started doing this, his shedding has been way less.
At the same time keep your hamper of dirty clothes in an area that your dog doesn't have access to and has limited air flow. This helps the hair floating in the air from falling all over your hamper before you wash.
Oh, also, I know this will sound strange, but try out the dollar store lint rollers–I don’t know why, but name brand lint rollers just don’t pick up tough hair as well as the dollar store ones–and give your clothes a once over with it before putting it in the washer.

Bichon Frise. These cute dogs have actual hair, not fur. They don't shed, they do not leave puffs of themselves all over the house, and they are great with kids. They are probably one of the smallest "big dogs" in sense of temperment I have ever seen.

Dryer vent nice and open?

Honestly, we've got a white dog, a black cat, and a tabby just in case any clothes don't properly contrast with the first two...

Anyhow, while there are occasional tumbleweeds of fur between vacuuming and the car turns into a snow globe when the windows are down, our clothes come out of the dryer perfectly presentable. Staying that way is another question, but I wonder whether your dryer is doing all it should.

This time of year (lengthening daylight) a lot of animals will blow their coats.
Bathing and brushing are mentioned, both make a big difference. Frequent vacuuming also. Diet makes a difference too.

Unless you're in the desert or on permafrost, effective flea control for every cat or dog in the house. Yes, that absolutely includes indoors cats. Absolutely.

Oh no, you definitely have something.

I remember telling a carpet salesman "I'm looking for a berber in Siamese cat tan".  We have hardwood now, but our couch is Siamese cat.  I don't like the hair shedding everywhere, but being middle aged now, I'm just as responsible as the cats.  We brush them outside when they need it.  I like my cats and have accepted that there's going to be some hair on me.  Thankfully, my wife doesn't seem to mind shedding animals either.

Our old dogs were way hairy, and someone once recommended a Kong Zoomgroom. Holy crow it worked! It just grabbed a ton of hair from their coats.

Roxy isn’t quite as hairy, but she still gets Zoomgrooved periodically.

I tried one of those on my dog and had no luck.

This style worked best for me

Back when I was doing dog rescue I would have six or seven huskies on the property. Much worse.

Now there is just one, and she isn't allowed in part of the house.

Yep, we've had the vent duct and dryer cleaned twice in the 7+ years we've lived here. Both times basically empty. It's just us, no kids. We rehomed the cat because his aggression toward the dogs had reached the point of drawing blood with his claws.

We have a third dog, lab/pit mix, but she has short hair and doesn't really shed. Dogs are not allowed in my office or our bedroom.

Poodles, that's the answer.......even my hyper allergic brother can be around them without swelling up like a cantaloupe

My GF and I have two cats. Well they are technically hers but they were part of the package. One is a torbie and the other is a tuxedo. I've accepted the fact that I will never exist without some amount of cat hair on me.

One thing I've noticed is that the clothes washer will evenly distribute the hair between all of the clothing in the load. My tshirts go in with little but come out fuzzy.

Tear off lint rollers have helped a lot. Especially before washing clothes. I had to get after the GF for putting the bedding in the washer without lint rolling the layer of cat hair off. Less cat hair on the bedding/clothes, the less that ends up in the washer. Also make sure to clean the clumps of hair out of the washer so it doesn't get deposited back onto the clothes.
