At first I though it was a few mobile homes strapped to the Earth. Interesting home, more curious about water resistance, heat retention (or deflection), you know, home owner stuff.

Interesting concept. Very good at keeping water out if it's designed and laid correctly - we make boats out of it! Pretty easily repairable, and in the world of fiberglass boats the only thing that makes something irreparable for fiberglass is the size of the check that is needed.
Looks bad though.
That is one seriously ugly house. The fiberglass parts are ugly, and the non-fiberglass parts are ugly, and the indoors parts are ugly. Got to love Wiremold wiring all over a $400k+ house.
The setting looks nice, and the price seems very good for the location and features. Probably because it's SO UGLY.
Also, could they not have pressure washed it or did the vertical dirt lines in the middle of each fiberglass section just not wash out??
I think the real question is how much more the insurance is going to be. Most companies do not want to cover non traditional home construction at all anymore.
Just over 2 acres of land with a view of a pond. Over / under it's all going into a dumpster? There are several towns in and around Boston where that happens all the time now.
