I love them. I've been wanting to build one for a long time. Have you gone to Steve Magnante's site or read his book? It may help with your problem.
I also noticed in the new Speedway catalog that they are now selling Gasser front end parts.

Not familiar with Magnante. On the list
xflowgolf, Gassermadness good. Been hook up with them for a while. The GRM'ers here have an appreciation for the budgettarily challenged builders such as myself. Hence the original post :)

Mrs. gave me the book for my b-day. Neet!
Lucked out yesterday......I have been trying to pick up roll bar material for 4 weeks and could not because of work schedule. Finally get to Dillsburg Aerowork yesterday. Asked about the 1 3/4" x .120wt and the sales person said, "Can you use some rusty pieces?" "Yup." "Well I got a great deal to you...Found these yesterday." 25 cents a pound and out the driveway I went with 2 full sticks and a few cut offs for $20.75. I'll have about $10-12 in the whole roll bar.....yaaay!!! BTW< if you are in Central PA and need metal, they are selling out and anything with rust is going for 25 cent a pound.
A Henry J; neat!
On a trip to visit my Grandmother in San Antonio when I was 9, we stopped at a gas station, I want to say in Arizona, where there was a Henry J gasser called the "Humpin' Henry J". It made quite an impression on me...
Last year or so, while trying to find some info about that car, I picked up an old copy of Super Chevy magazine that had a page-long article on it off of eBay...
I got no tech info to share, Andy's way smarter than I am.
My dad's speed shop (Po Boy Speed Shop in Columbia, SC) used to sponsor a B Gas Mustang. I remember it was Hemi powered, the engine and carbs came from 'Dyno Don' Nicholson.

Absolutely! Love them both. I saw "Suicide King" make a pass years ago. It dragged the bumper for the first 100 yards or so.
I missed out on a nice Henry J for sale locally a few months back. I won't miss out on the next one.

Worked on the floor boards yesterday. Posted these in the "Free cars are still out there" thread, should have put them here. I will post some more progress pics of the Stude Gasser here.

You were missed. We understand, though.
Considering doing it to the 'lain. Doesn't help that I have access to a 460 and a manual valve/reverse gate C6.

Had some 55s and 56s. The TLB car is awesome.
At the meet this weekend there were at least (20-25) 55's and about (10) 56's. Only 1 Henry racing.
Last cruise (20-25) 55's and (2-3) 56's, only 1 Henry

Fuzzy (my son Calvin) ran his first 13 with the 260 powered 63. I was thrilled that we could run together. Two years ago, he made his first pass in a full sized car and we were lined up together. Me, his proud Dad, aahhhh Yaaa!!!.
