I'm wondering if there's a forum or list somewhere on the interwebs of truckers with regular runs looking to pick up some freight instead of coming back empty? We've got a couple of cars in Florida, and we used to have a couple of semi-local guys that did just that, but they don't run to Florida anymore.

You could always call a freight broker and ask if they can ship a vehicle or refer you to someone that can.

You either have to go through a freight broker or a company like UShip. Most truckers are leased to a company. There are not that many independent truckers anymore and even fewer that handle autos.

I'd think you'd need an auto specific truck/company.

I can't imagine you can make any money with a rig if it's empty on the return home.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned truck stop hookers. They know everything.
