Sprint network but cost looks good. Especially for me who uses WIFI for most of my data use.
What do you all think?

A guy I work with uses it and has been happy with it so far. He really doesn't travel much so a more limited network is no biggy for him.
Me there are places I go the only provider that covers the areas is Verizon. Then there are other places that no one covers short of a sat phone.
I'll be switching by the end of the month. We have paid-for Sprint phones, and running our usage through their calculator shows almost $100 less a month for same usage.
I hate the Sprint network, but at that cheap, i can deal with it.
I have a friend that has been on it for a year and likes it. It has all the E36 M3iness of Sprint but when your bill is $17 a month you get over it.

This is what i am thinking... I think I would have my wife on VZW and I would try Ting to save $$$$. I use my phone less than her and usually if we are out of the city, we are together.
My Mom, BIL, girlfriend, aunt, co-worker+ his wife, and probably other people I'm forgetting are on ting and they are quite happy with it. I would be on it if my service wasn't paid for by work.

I love the idea- paying for what you actually use is the most libertarian ideal- really like it. I have T-mobile currently and wonder if the sprint network is any worse than T-mob. Thoughts? If so, I'm willing to go through the pain to switch out our phones.

Ive heard sprint isn't as good as t-mobile, but these anecdotes are region specific.
