I've only been a teacher for a year but I can attest that a sincere note means so much more more than a generic gift/giftcard.

I would go with note + chocolate. Food is such a great gift because it gets eaten and doesn't lay around taking up space

And good booze doesnt have to be expensive booze, I love Jamisons bushmills above all and they arent expensive at all
