Cliff notes.... some company is giving away tons of PE foam( polyethal-something-or-another). Are there any GRM uses for the stuff that would warrant picking up some? Would it work as insulation or would it gas off?
I saw that post too! I was thinking soundproofing/deadening material.

I was thinking that since it looks very pliable, maybe use it in the attic and crawl space as insulation. As maybe as a huge washable mat for my toddlers.
I wonder if it comes with an MSDS?

Art projects for the kiddos? Cut out and make shapes and letters and stuff.
Drawer liners in a tool box?
Soundproof your dunge.. ... um ... playroom.
Polyethylene. Not terrible chemical or fire resistant.
Sound deadened in a home or garage, mats to keep your concrete garage floor from bruising your old bones when you work on a car...or is that just me?

I used something similar as padding in a custom rifle case a few years ago.

I'd be concerned about using this as insulation. For one, the R value isn't great: 3.2 per inch. Second, I can't find and flammibility data, but I recall it being pretty bad.
Glue a few layers together and cut holes in the shapes of tools to shadow your toolbox?
I can make a hat, or a brooch, or a pterodactyl. . .
Cheap rally mud flaps that won't scratch anyones paint? If it glues together well foam box flares or air dams?
Sounds like I need to buy a house w/ a work space so I can sound-proof it and pad the floor.
